At Variations, a dancer's studio, our mission
is to provide leading dance industry instruction in a friendly but disciplined
environment. We have brought together talented instructors with diverse backgrounds,
all dedicated to the art of dance and movement.
From the finest classical ballet, to the hippest contemporary movement, dance can
enhance the lives of all people and can be an intergral part of the development of
every child. Variations is a place where healthy
bodies and healthy attitudes are built.
We are committed to train students for a professional career in dance, while also
dedicated to the development of the recreational dancer simply here for enjoyment and the
love of the art form.
Variations innovative program caters to everyone. We offer
an extensive curriculum for all levels and all ages - from the beginner to the professional - from
the very young, to the young at heart.
Variations is not a recital or competition based school. However,
our students are offered performing opportunities with LIDC and community appearances at Heckscher Park. We are
committed to promoting dance and nurturing the artistic development of our community.
Variations four dance studios have sprung floors. This flexible flooring is
designed to absorb energy, provide resiliency and prevent injuries. Floating on foam blocks, our studios have the
proper floors critical to a dancer's safety.
Variations has an easy, safe and efficient drop-off area.
