Experience:Kathleen started out as a ballet dancer where she trained with renowned dance teacher, Maggie Black (trainer of Gelsey Kirkland), along with the Boston Ballet, STEPS on Broadway and Alvin Ailey in Manhattan, NY. After graduating from High School she started her first professional dancing job when she was asked to join the Eglevsky Ballet. After years of studying mostly ballet she decided to branch out to different types of dance. She instantly fell in love with jazz dancing where she took from Emmy nominated choreographers, “Glenn and Brian”, at Broadway Dance Center and later performed with them on Saturday night Live in a skit with Will Ferrell and Katie Holmes. Kathleen has also appeared on Nickelodeon on the television series “Naked Brothers Band”. She has danced in commercials and industrials in Atlantic City and New York such as Lee Jeans, Royal Caribbean, Toyota, Coca Cola and appeared in Dance Spirit Magazine modeling some of the dance fashions. She continued performing where she got to work for Tokyo Disney in Japan and travel the world working on cruise ships with Royal Caribbean dancing as well as doing “Cirque du Soleil” type aerial acts. She has just recently taught at the Sarasota Ballet and has been teaching ballet and jazz classes in New York for the last few years. Kathleen is also a certified Pilates instructor and teaches Mat and Reformer classes.
